He got pulled over twice on the way to my place in his rental car.

The journey began in Torrance...no real map....no sense of direction...no one who speaks english at the gas stations...police thinking we're some hispanic gangbangers...Gas station employees twitching waiting to get robbed...aggressive homeless ppl just staring and 'asking' for change outside your window while you wait for the light to go green...shady characters chilling outside convenience stores...good times...good times

Worst Airport Experience Ever!
Flight Leaves at 4:10pm....
its 2:30pm and i'm in line to check in.
its 3:00pm and an Air Canada Rep tells all of us that we're in the wrong line and we have to self-check in.
its 3:30pm and after lining up to self-check in the machine tells me to go back to the line i was in
its 4:30pm, my flight is gone...i'm at the check in counter...they tell me to go to the ticketing booth
its 5:15pm the air canada employee at the ticketing center is not being receptive to my condition. She keeps shaking her head and contesting all the facts that i stated to her. She continues to not believe my case. My anger level continues to increase at an exponential rate. My aggravated voice has turned into the voice that few people have actually heard. She calls over another employee questioning my claims about how busy it really was at the terminal. The other employee confirms my story and the ticket women responds with a smirk..."well...that doesn't carry and water"...WTF?...FUCK YOU...FUCK AIR CANADA. No I kept in my anger...I gave the dirtiest cutz to her ever...she wasn't phased...She ended up charging me $50 instead of $170 to rebook a flight for the same day. I quicked rushed through customs and found the bar with a smoking room. A few Rye and Gingers and cigarettes later i was calm again....until.....

The 2 men sitting in A and C are...well...living LARGE....this gives me no chance of having armrests for the flight. Its not that they were hogging the armrests on either side of me but it was just physically impossible for me to put my arms on the armrests. bah...I grow weary of talking about this subject

well...i'm off to Nevada for 4 days...should be fun....

Going going...back back...to Cali Cali...

The 'Be' Experience...
Common Concert was far from common.

A True Hip Hop Concert with a MC that truly performs....2 hours of Common...positive messages with a positive MC...the vibe of the crowd bounced back and forth from person to person as the energy flowed from us back to Common...

- 15 minutes of Common Freestyle
- Common break dancing on stage in the middle of his song
- An encore that lasted another 20 minutes
- DJ W..W..W...with a 10 minute showcase of scratch mastery

One of the best concerts i've ever attended...only upsetting part was when the DJ faded out my favourite song during the pregame mix....93 till infinity should be treated with respect damnit!....2000 other ppl agreed with me....booo...booourns

I never thought i would say this but this concert rivals the Roots concert...
