  ORIENTAL FUSION 2k3 is done! it was a masterpiece...a great show i was really happy seeing everyone's hardwork come together and seeing all the kids handle pressure with such poise. i was mad stressed being in charge of all the sound and music...burning the cd with only 1/2 hr to go...no time for a sound check...damn...but things went well...saturdays show was ever better than fridays show...i'll try and post some pix up when i get the cd...and the video will be done in a couple weeks...here's some clips from the kung fu dudes...they are sick:

  ok...so after all the hard work...it was all good...well the show was a success...other things i'm not too sure about...but regardless...after the show...it was time for the ROOTS!

  The Roots concert....the sickest, illest, live show on the planet...this crew is the greatest group of all time...beyond hip hop...beyond pop, beyond the stars...the best $40 bucks i spent in my life. here we go...the lineup was damn long...but it moved pretty quickly...luckily my boys PC & BDabolina were saving a spot in line for me...tonite was an ol skool nite out...no one with us was under the age of 24. Thats rite...i was the youngest person there...hahaha...sick...get into cool haus and the dj is spinning some classic hip hop from the mid 90s...the crowd was a good mix of all cultures and all ages...it was good to see that people of all ages appreciate good music...some of the younger kidz didn't know the ol skool and classic joints but wutever...it was all good...the roots come out and they didn't stop performing...i'm telling u...if you were to watch any concert...watch the roots...you get your money's worth...not one second of silence...scratch is just amazing...human turntable 4realz...all of them are sick...they showcased each member and their talents throughout the entire show...mad skillz came on 1/2 way so the roots could rest for a bit and he tore it up with his attacks at the hip hop game...i must say it was a great show....and i can't hear out of my left ear...i thought my ears were gonna pop a couple times...crazy

  ok...its sunday now..and i'm dead tired...wake up late and have lunch with my parents...i felt bad cuz i didn't get to really chill with them and its new years...they came to the CNE and saw the show but i didn't get to hang out there either cuz i had to help out with cleaning up afterwards...so now i'm really late picking up my friend and we're really late going to the raptor game...

  i missed alot of the game but we saw the best parts...everyone seemed to be playing great for the raps...rafer alston is just dirty...one thing that was sad to see was wang zhi zhi looking very bored and unhappy on the clippers bench...everyone got to play except him...and its chinese new year...damn...that sucks.

  
  

  so now its monday morning and i'm trying to study...studying for a bit last nite...passed out on my books...drool is not good....not good at all...

  
  

  i got an email this weekend that hmmm...well it was one that i didn't expect...i was glad i received it but i'm not sure if my reply was really clear...i replyed in a rush cuz i was heading out of the house to the OF show...i hope that the message got across...
